First Fish

My grandson caught his first fish!!! He caught it all by himself. I think that's pretty good for only 3 1/2 years old!

That is a big moment in a boys life. I know he was proud of himself, too.

So you will prepare it and he will share in the eating of it, right? That is also an important part of catching his first fish. Thanks for sharing this momentous time with your blogging friends! :-)

He looks very proud of his catch. A moment to remember and a memory to last a lifetime all from one little fish :)

That's amazing! My son is two and that scares me that he could be that grown up in such a short time!

I remember that moment too. Catching your first fish is like the ride in your first car. He will remember this. Look at the pride on his face. Priceless.

Woo Hoo! I have a picture of my daughter when she was about 6 at a birthday party surrounded by boys. She is in a pretty party dress with lacy socks and patent leather shoes, and holding up a fish she had just caught.

Thanks for sharing, and for bringing back that memory.

Awesome! My dad used to take me fishing when I was a kid. Once, we lost a whole string of them. You know those strings you put through their gills and then peg them to the ground? Four or five of them on there and they pulled it loose. I always wondered how they managed to live, all strung together like that.
