Gayle, take it from someone who has been in the exact same boat - it will all be worth it in the end. Don't you remember when I was remodeling my house. Bobby and I had our bed, Megan and Josh shared a bed, and I had Dallas' crib (because I was babysitting him 4-5 days a week) all in the one room above the garage at Christmas 1998. We ate fast food because all we had was a microwave. One bathroom for all. A 12" talking tree for decoration. Oh,and that was also the year of the big ice storm on Christmas day where everyone lost power! You'll laugh about it for years to come! Love you and Merry Christmas! I'll call you soon. Judy

Well dear Neice, you certainly know how to bring a smile to our faces. I know it probably seems like the end of the world at this point as you had "great" plans but, remember the most important thing in life, GOD is still in control, Bryson won't care if things are in a mess and next year something else will replace this trauma. :-) Seriously tho, I can put myself where you are after being married as long as I have but another GOOD thing is I've been married long enough to know that none of this is going to last. Take the good moments even in the middle of your mess and just be THANKFUL for what God has given you. And as you've said, keep your head up and SMILE. By the way, how is Greg? Aunt Barbara

Girl you might have a mess, but be Thankful you have one! Some people don't have anything. I didn't even get my tree up last year until the day before Christmas because everyone was sick. We weren't sure we were even going to get together for the day. But, All worked out!
By the way did Gerald put any sugar in the hot chocolate mix? ;) That was funny!
Merry Christmas! Love Ya, Paulette

Oh my goodness! That is a mess, but it looks pretty much how I expected it would considering the living room became the junk room during construction. I'm surprised Dad was able to even clean it out that quickly to do the floors! ;=) Everything will work out. The only people coming over already know you're living in a construction zone.

At least they are getting thing done. I am sure it will be beautiful in the end and they are right. It is just your family and Bryson will never remember. Hope you all have a great Christmas!
