Bryson's 3rd Halloween

This year I decided to try to start a tradition. I say try because I never know from one year to the next if the kids will be able to come or not. Even if they can't I think I am going to do it any way ...if I remember. The tradition that I am starting is....I made a big pot of soup and what ever time the kids got here they could eat. It went over very well. Gerald said it was the best soup that I have ever made. I think he loved it so much because he didn't make it.

I Am Proud Of MY Brother

WHAT IS ST BALDRICK'S?!?!St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer. Rusty along with some other members of the Clayton Fire Department took part in this fundraiser. Unfortunately, I couldn't be there but I wanted to share this with everyone. I am so very proud of Rusty.

Angela's Birthday

Bryson helping mix the icing.
Emily frosting Angela's cake with Bryson's help.

Grandpa showing Bryson how to lick the beaters. He loved eating the icing.

Bryson was so cute putting candles on Angela's cake.

Sometimes he wanted to push the candles to far down. He told us he was making a circle.

He sure looks serious. :)

Almost finished

He is such a happy little boy. It's hard to believe we will be celebrating his 3rd birthday in less than a month.

The finishe product. I do believe I have never seen candles on a cake look so good :)

Angela blowing out her candles. Greg watching.

Angela's birthday was October 6th but we celebrated it yesterday. Gerald work 40 hours overtime this past week making robots for work ( his design). I told him he needs to get a Pattin but not sure what he will do. He fixed pepper steak, rice, salad, green beans and rolls. I fixed a homemade carrot cake with the help of Emily and Bryson. After supper we watched Charlotte's Web. Bryson watched some but then he wanted to go watch Barney in my bedroom. When he started to get sleepy he decided it was time to get up and go play some more. We all had a wonderful time.

Our Day with Thomas the Train

Bryson, Sean, Emily, Gerald and I went to Spencer, NC to see Thomas the Train. It was at the NC Transportation Museum and took us about two hours to get there. What a beautiful day we had!!! We saw Sir Topum Hat and Bob the Builder. We rode the train and walked around looking at all the small trains too. It was a Perfect Day!!
