Not sure what I've been doing but there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day to do all the things I want to do. Bryson is doing great..........5 years old already. Time sure is flying!

Wishing you all a Very Happy New Year!

Hopefully in 2012 I will have more time:)gaylehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00894920637532415315noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8226220657854786225.post-82483071177001791542011-11-03T20:06:00.000-04:002011-11-03T20:06:57.794-04:00I'm Here but Not BackSo many things have happen since my last post, I honestly haven't had the time to write or make comments.

Bryson is doing well. It's unbelieveable how fast kids recover. He's growing like a weed and continues to suprise me! It's hard to believe he will start school in just 8 months.

In October I flew by myself to New Jersey to surprise my Aunt on her 80th Birthday. It was so wonderful to spend time with family. Also in Octoer we went to the State Fair and of couse Halloween. As I write this I'm wondering what else have I been doing with my time and my mind is drawing a blank.
Hopefully one day soon I will get back to reading about what you all have been up too because I have been thinking about you!gaylehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00894920637532415315noreply@blogger.com16tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8226220657854786225.post-63834444144557743562011-09-12T23:33:00.000-04:002011-09-12T23:33:16.865-04:00Bryson ~ Surgery ~ UpdateBryson's surgery went well today! When we left the hospital tonight he was resting and watching tv! He still has the IV in his hand and a drain tube in his head. Hopefully it will all come out tomorrow.

Here is a little information about Craniosynostosis. Infants are born with skulls composed of six separate bone plates, separated by areas of soft fibrous tissue known as sutures. (The areas where sutures intersect are the fontanelles, often referred to as the “soft spots.”) Under normal circumstances, sutures expand through early childhood to allow the skull to accommodate the growing brain. The sutures then fuse at specific pre-programmed ages throughout the course of life, resulting in the round head shape we're accustomed to seeing. If, however, one or more of the sutures closes prematurely, craniosynostosis (abnormal growth and development of the skull) is the result.

Please Pray for Bryson, the doctor's and his momma and daddy!
Plus the fish tank. Her husband Sean had to take it all apart in order to bring it over to our house and then reset it back up at our house. This took several hours and then...........their power came back on. They were planning on just leaving the fish at our house for a few days but Bryson got so upset that his daddy caved in and took Bryson's fish back home.
It had to be about weather. He wanted a tornado (or twister as he likes to call them), house, cow, train and dirt in his picture. This is the final project.
Well that is not exactly how it works, we will still have all the construction equipment. You know, the 6am, 3 dozen diesel engines coming to life roaring as they jockey into position for the day’s work. Then the beep, beep, beep as they hit reverse and just sit there. It is almost as if they think, if I can’t sleep then no one can and believe me no one can, that is except for my wife. She could sleep through a bomb attack and wake up asking why am I so grumpy. I can’t believe her, once she is asleep nothing bothers her but me, on the other hand a Nat could fart and I would heat it, this is so <span style="font-family: "Calibri", "sans-serif"; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">annoying.
They have been working with the bridge on our road that will cross over I-540 for several months. I can’t believe how fast they can build a bridge once the concrete cures in the abutment and center piers. Except for the side rails the bridge is finished and they are now starting to work on the road bed leading to the bridge. Here are some photos of how the bridge has progressed with time.
What I need help on is how to keep up with everyone! There are so many different ways to do that and I have been doing it my way forever that I was wondering what the best way is. Does that make sense?

My way ~ go to my Dashboard ~ never close it down and then read from there ( there meaning the right side) but it seems to be messing up lately. Now when ever my computer shuts down I can only go back about one day so if I have missed a day then I probably missed someones blog post. Yesterday and today, I've been going on my left side of my Dashboard and pulling one blog up at a time and reading that way. This can be time consuming because I can get caught up in reading several posts on one blog.

I know some of you go through Google Reader but I've looked at that and it seems confusing and I can't figure how to comment through that.

I would really appreciate any suggestions! Plus do those of you who work outside the home read blogs every day or just a few times a week. Do you set a time limit? I really really feel that I am spending more time ...........well I know I am .....reading blogs than reading the many books I have on my list.

As far as posting I only post when I have something I want to share so I don't have any problems with posting ...........just the reading part.gaylehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00894920637532415315noreply@blogger.com54tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8226220657854786225.post-41620707985510962962011-02-27T19:44:00.000-05:002011-02-27T19:44:04.340-05:00So Glad My Grandson Likes To Read

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">My daughter took this picture of my grandson the other night. Bryson I said, "That's my daddy." He said, "Is he gone?" (Wonder how he knew?) I said, "yes." My daughter Emily said, "that's my grandpa and he's in heaven." Bryson asked if he was with Jesus. "Yes he is," Emily said. What surprised us was when Bryson who is four years old said,
"Do you miss him?"
