Mother's Day 2010

Oh what a beautiful Spring day here in NC! I had a wonderful Mother's Day with Angela, Emily, Bryson and Gerald. We had a delicious steak lunch at Lonestar Steak House. Then back to my house for dessert. Emily made some type of chocolate truffle dessert. It had chocolate brownies, pudding and Snickers bars with whip cream between layers and on top. Heavenly!!! Then I opened my gifts. Two new Pandora charms from Emily....a kangaroo with baby and a orange (Bryson's favorite color) flower. From Angela I received the latest Nicholas Sparks novel The Last Song. Perfect gifts for me!!! I couldn't have asked for a nicer day! I felt truly loved!!

Wow! That dessert looks fattening, but as you said, heavenly. I think I would have shared it to avoid the inevitable expansion. What a great day, and what an uplifting post, Gayle. You shared your day with me, and now I feel blessed, too! Hugs.

Forget the steak house! That chocolate dessert really looked good!

The weather has been nice here lately. Lack of rain is making my mowing schedule easier!

My gosh, but that child has your eyes! Amazing!
I have one of those San Disks now and I am going to use that in my camera from now on. My old phone didn't have any such thing.

:) I think when you have daughters and they entertain it just stand to reason that some of your things are going to drift...to their homes! :) I can tell you totally understand!
