My pretty niece Austin (and she's sweet too) and Bryson
My pretty niece Austin (and she's sweet too) and Bryson
We had another wonderful time at Sheila's, Gerald's sister, house with family and friends! We were late eating ........again.....but this time it was no ones fault. Everyone enjoyed Bryson...he is talking so much more and says the cutest things! He's not much on eating and hardly ate anything...wish I was more like him. I am thankful that we could all be together. Missing Sean..but a fireman has to work some of the holidays!! Bryson was looking forward to seeing his daddy at the fire department later.

Three Things Thursday
Three things that happened today ~~~~`Thursday
While my car was being repaired, I was given a free 15 minute massage!!How great is that??!!
When looking at a Well Known Blog (I am not telling who), I finished reading and Xed out but to my amazement it didn't X out but kept going on and on and on until I had 10 of her blogs opening up. The only thing I could do was shut the computer down. How weird is that??!!
Where was I from 5pm to 6pm ish today....I was a greeter at Chick Fil A..
Saying Welcome to Baucom Night at Chick Fil A... and I even said it right most of the time. How different is that?!!

The Cleaners Fired Me
It all started a week ago when I brought Gerald's shirts home from the cleaners. I Don't Iron....Until I retire and then I will. They were wrinkled in places. Not a real big deal but with the price I am paying I want perfection. So I called my cleaners and he said to bring them in and he would fix them..........Are you kidding me............I am not bring 20 shirts back in....I will bring one. So, I go up there today and he says "Oh Oh are they (who is they) crazy, Oh oh this it not right". I agreed with him and showed him how much I paid and he just looked at me. I was picking up more shirts so I told him I didn't think I should have to pay for them and he nicely said ok. When I proceed to give him more shirts he said " NO No you take somewhere else, I can't please you".
I really didn't want to find a new cleaners.

Bryson is Three
It is so hard for me to believe that Bryson is 3 years old!!! Wow!! Time sure does fly. I have so enjoyed all the different phases that he has gone through! He is talking so much now and to hear him say as we wake up from our 2 hour nap together (which I never did with my girls) "I love you Gramme" brings such joy!! I look forward to all the new things he will be doing and at the same time I am sad that time is going by so fast.

Greg Clawson's 50th Birthday Party
Greg looking at the pig with Meredith
Maxine, Meredith, Harold and friends
Greg opening presents
Greg singing with the band..Ally with her Grandpa (Meredith's dad)
Table decorations
Table decorations
Greg and his room mates
Uncle Greg with Colby, Bryson and Ally
Granny Beasly and Eunice
Phil, John and Diane Clawson and Karon Swayze
It is hard for me to believe that Greg turned 50!! Some time last year Meredith suggested we have a big party for him. We rented a building, Rusty had a friend of his cook a pig for us, we bought slaw, potato salad, chips, rolls, candy, chips and more. Meredith ordered a cake and tons of balloons. Rusty and Meredith went crazy at Party City buying decorations. I had picked up sand buckets ( he loves the beach and Beach Boys), coke bowls and decorations, Meredith got some more from a friend. Rusty hauled in tons of ice (probably too much thanks to me). Emily and I went down to Clayton and together with Meredith ran errands and decorated the building with the help of Meredith's mom, brother, Sean and Gerald. Bryson, Colby and Ally helped some. Greg had such a wonderful time. The band was awesome. Thanks to Meredith's dad for arranging that. Greg said the blessing and we all had a delicious BBQ (southern style). Greg sang with the band "Today is Your Birthday" by the Beatles. Meredith made a slide show of Greg...some of the pictures were really old ones that we scanned and gave her. So with old pictures from when he was just a little boy along with newer pictures the slide show was a great success. We had the cake and Greg opened his gifts. There was dancing, talking and laughing and so many great memories were made. We had about 75 people, maybe more turn out.... Beasley's, Meredith's family, Friends from both sides, Clawson's and Gerald's family...I am sure I have left something or someone out ...please forgive me and if you are reading this...please feel free to correct me or add to this.
Meredith and Kristy (Meredith's brothers wife) both so good to Greg. Meredith's parents with Greg. They are so wonderful!!
