Fish Sitting ~ Almost

A few weeks ago when my daughter lost power they move all their refrigerator stuff to our house.  Plus the fish tank. Her husband Sean had to take it all apart in order to bring it over to our house and then reset it back up at our house.  This took several hours and then...........their power came back on.  They were planning on just leaving the fish at our house for a few days but Bryson got so upset that his daddy caved in and took Bryson's fish back home.

Can you believe these are the Gold Fish that are given away as prizes at Fairs?  They have really grown in 6 months!
He said "Bye I'm going to miss you" and then started crying.
Daddy taking the fish tank back apart.
Ready to go home.

aw, look at that sad little face saying good bye to his fish. Those fair prize fish never lasted for me, they always died in a few days. Those are amazing. We have an aquarium so I know how much work that is taking it down and setting it back up. I bet Bryson's dad was just thrilled...lol

Oh, that's so sad and so cute at the same time! I remember when we got a hermit crab at the fair once; that thing lived for two years and kept growing! What do they feed them???

I'll bet fish sitting is a lot easier than baby sitting or Old Geezer sitting :-)

that's pretty freaking miraculous that those are fair-fish -- all of mine were bent-bodied in the bag by the time i made it home... what's their secret?

What an adorable story. Love his face in the picture.

For that little sad pouty face, I'd take apart the fish tank twice as well! And my kids aren't even as cute as that child!

What a pain in the butt! That's a nice setup for fair goldfish. I had many as a child that died but we also had quite a few that lived long (for goldfish), fruitful lives. Lol

Wow! Those are gold fish? We have some at my office and I have heard that they can grow depending on how large their environment is. Our fish tank is bigger and our fish are smaller than those, wonder why that is.
