You Might Be A Redneck If ~

you go to Lowes to get wood and use your John Boat to haul it home in. That's exactly what my son in law did. He has an eight foot truck bed and needed to haul sixteen foot long lumber so this was his solution. Pretty ingenuous!

That's called "doing what ya gotta do!"

Very clever of him! So.....can I borrow that trailer - I mean boat - sometime?

Very smart. Sometimes you've just gotta do what you've gotta do to get the job done.

I'm at Home Depot and my son-in-law works for Lowes and we see stuff like this all the time. Smart fellow.

That's very funny. I'm glad to know there's at least one ingenius redneck out there.

Smart guy your son-in-law. Sounds like he is a great guy to have around the house too. A fixer-upper kind of guy.

LOL. I would not have thought of that. It got the job done. Good for him.

redneck or not, it was a pretty smart idea. it also worked well as a blog post because it made me laugh :)

Priceless! Wish I was that resourceful.

So SMART! And cheaper than renting a truck or having it delivered! Ingenious!

It is, actually! :-)

Not so sure it makes him a redneck, but it is clever.

VERY smart son in law! I wonder, could he be related to my husband do you think? :) My husband used to take our little Sea Breeze to Home Depot or Lowe's and bring home things like lumber and screen doors...in it..which made me a little frantic. I always wondered if I would find something broken or scratched..but no...everything was always as I had left it...he..wouldn't be Irish? :)
Hugs,
Mona

Oh my goodness. I don't know if I'd tell too many people this story. Couldn't he have used the trailer and left the boat at home?

Liz Mays said...

No, he didn't do that. I refuse to accept it! ;)

Very smart! I would have never thought of that!
