Christmas Celebration 2009 # 1

Our first Christmas celebration of 2009 was held last night on my 39th wedding anniversary! Menu---snack foods ---because it's the easiest and everyone brings something. We had a great time talking and watching the kids play. It got a little loud at times but everyone took it rather well.( could it be what Gerald put in his famous Sausage Balls ).

Great Christmas pictures Gayle. It sounds like you had your party the same night we had ours here (which was last nite, Sat. the 19th) We shared stockings like we always do and had White Elephants and laughed, ate, played a card game and Shuffle Board. Tami & I were a little out of it but it was still fun to watch the rest have so much fun. May you all have a great Christmas Day. I'm not sure what we will do yet cause I never know from one day to the next just how I will fell but so far I'm doing good today after a busy nite last night. Love to you all and Hope you and Gerald have many more Anniversaries together. Uncle Del and I feel so blessed to have had each other for over 56 years. Love Aunt Barbara

I am going against all things Casa Hice and not making an inappropriate comment about Gerald's balls.

Oh Gayle, what wonderful warm happy photos. Your home looks so cozy, I felt like I'd just walked in the door. That's what I love so much about blogs... really getting to know your blog peeps and their families. You can keep the anonymous blogs. Blah. Too sterile. I want to come inside, stick around, meet the kids. Thank you for showing us that. I have a feeling this is going to be a very blessed Christmas. I wish that for you and every member of your beautiful happy family! Cheers~

Gayle, Congrats, on 39 yrs. Dallas and I will be celebrating our 50th, July 2, 2010 Sometimes I wonder how he has put up with me that long, plus 2years of dating! I'm sorry I've not been posting to your blog, I got into face book and contacting old friends and family, have gotten in touch with so many old school mates. I to haven't taken my tree down or outside decoration, as dallas has been working so much and i need help getting the boxes back out of the attic so we can pack them and put them back in the attic! Pain in the rear at our age! But I do it for my grandkids, you know what it's like. I do love seeing all your photos. I hope you've enjoyed mine on Face Book. Happy New Year! Love Ya, Paulette
